Title: Does HRT dosage sometimes need increasing after few years?
Post by: Londongirl on August 26, 2016, 07:45:03 PM
I've been on Femoston Conti for a few years now.  All been fine but last year depression has reared it's ugly head again and seems on the increase.  I seem to be functioning but with this horrid black cloud always there no matter what I am doing even social activities.

I'm wondering if I need to move my dosage up?  I'm currently on the ultra low dose of Femoston Conti (0.5/2.5mg).

Been post meno for around 7 years - started HRT when post meno about 5 years ago and no periods for 7 years

Any thoughts ?

Thanks lovely ladies for a great site

When R U due for a med review, or ring your prescribing Doctor and ask?  You may need ADs as the depression may be a different issue.
