I've got the results of my blood tests back.
I know bloods can be pointless when hormones are fluctuating but I wanted my thyroid checked more than anything.
They were drawn on day 4 of my cycle. I had been using Evorel50 oestrogen patches for 15 days.
My oestradiol came back at 63 p/mol.
I understand it can be measured in p/mol or p/mg.
Is that very low? According to the range on the copy I have it seems well below normal?
I'll be with my gynae in a few days but wanted to see if any of the knowledgeable ladies here had any thoughts.
The range for follicular on the sheet says 98-571.

Hi Flufferama,
Yes, this avery low reading provided you are wearnig a patch. You are probably not absorbing it well. You should definitely discuss with you doctor.
BTW, I had a similar reading just before I started HRT, and my symptoms were very dire. Everything improved once I started HRT, within a few months.
Good luck !

Thank you Milamam. I feel terrible. I've been awake from 4.30am every morning for the past six weeks or so and I can't function like this any more. :'(
