I had a full Hysterectomy some 18 months ago - & have just been on course of antibiotics for a urine infection which i think was causing my ache/cramp like spams in lower abdomen ...I just finished the course yesterday and saw my gp - she had the urine checked at the hospital and said nothing other than infection was indicated... Now after having a bath this morning i had some coloured vaginal discharge - so now my anx is back on high alert again ...I had hoped that having a hysterectomy would at least free me of some or any further concerns in that area of my body :(...... My Gp did say that urine infections in meno is not unusual -so i did feel a bit relieved about that - it never seems to end

Could you be dry in the vagina = bleeding? Did your GP suggest vaginal atrophy treatment? Were the correct anti-biotics prescribed?
