Title: Hello
Post by: KarenJ on August 09, 2016, 08:27:44 PM
Hello this is the first time I have visited the forum, so thought I would share some of my experiences/thoughts. I have spent most of my adult life dealing with hormones impacting on my quality of life. I longed not to have periods as I suffered from severe endometriosis, which impacted on every aspect of my life. I have been going through  menopause for a number of years, and have been on HRT patches with Mirena since I was 45. I had an FSH reading of 110 4 years ago and I am now 52. I have recently gone back on patches, but trying a much higher dose of 100. I do hope this helps with the night sweats and total lack of sleep! Still preferable though to living with crippling pain. Always look for the positives. 😊😊
