Hi everyone,
I'm been on Femoston 2/10 for 4 months now and have lost weight in the last 3 months. The leaflet states 'weight changes' as a side-effect but you normally hear about weight gain on HRT's not weight loss. I'd be interested to hear anyone else's experience. Thanks

Hi peacemakerukuk,
I am on the same HRT as you for already 2 years. In the first year I lost a bit of weight esp during the first few months when I had gastrial upset most of the time due to the pills. And I guess I have been underweight too before due to the stress anxiety and the woes of peri. I have since then gained 4 kgs ( not sure in lbs?) that are hard to shift. But the weight gain has been gradual. I do feel much better on HRT anyway so I don't want to look back or worry about the weight now. I am sure it will level out.
If you are not severely underweight I wouldn't worry. It all depends on how you feel on this new weight and whether you have more energy, etc.
