Title: Pleurisy

Has anyone had pleurisy and do you know how long the pain lasts?

I haven't had it, but I know someone who has and was still getting intermittent pain for months as the scar tissue healed.  They did get it checked out though, to make sure that's what it was, just in case.

Hello bramble.

Not quite the same but my neighbour has had pneumonia and has been told to expect recovery to take 4 months, however he has copd which probably complicates things.
