Hi, I'm 47 and I've been having symptoms for over 18 months and have tried various things. I just couldn't cope anymore and asked GP for hrt yesterday. I'd had bloods taken but hormone levels didn't really show too much.
The doctor gave me Elleste duet 1mg. I just wanted to know what is the best time to take it night or morning. I took it before bed last night. Also how long does it take to start working. I can't cope with these hot flushes any more 😢
Thanks Helen

Hi :welcomemm:
When I was on this I used to take mine in the morning but I don't think there is any particular time more what suits your lifestyle. I did really well on it for 6 years when sadly it stopped working for me. Try to give it at least two cycles but you should get relief from the flushes much sooner than that.Good luck and wish you well.

Hi, thank you for replying. The GP said to give it a while to work. So I will stick with it and see how I go on.
