Title: alternative to femoston conti

I am looking for an alternative to femsoton conti, had nothing but bleeding on and off whilst on thses for 10 months stopped taking 2 months ago, after doctor sent me for scan etc all is well. but I am now experiencing all the symptoms with a vengeance, my doctor is not so clued up and asked me to suggest an alternative!!!

Help, always felt well when I was on previous hrt, but was no longer available.

annemarie - if you don't want to have a monthly bleed then I would suggest you have a Mirena fitted and use Oestrogen as either pill, patch or gel alongside.  The Mirena will usually mean that you don't get any bleeding after the first few weeks.  It can be a very good option  DG x
