Title: Relax - it's Wimbledon........

Well, this year, after all the shinannigins of last week, I'm tuning into Wimbledon as and whenever I can, and whenever I want to chill out.  At this early stage in the tournament, it's nice and relaxing and I'm finding the ping-pong of the tennis ball and the commentators' languid commentating really rather therapeutic. Pass me the strawberries, someone............. :)

I have my phone on my desk, plugged in to the charger, and one earphone in ... so I can watch/listen to Wimbledon and hear what's going on in the office!  This will be default setting for the duration!

I can remember three summers when I watched Wimbledon non stop and I could justify as I was pregnant and was told to rest!

Why do you need to justify it? Well I suppose you might have to to your boss, if you work, but if not, just say it's part of your self care programme!  ;)

Well you had summer while I was on holiday! As usual! It's rained everyday since I came home! And it rained in Maine while you were sunbathing here! Have I jinxed the weather?  ::)

It's Wimbledon - maybe it should be played in November?  It's on our TV - how lovely of the chap earlier to earn £K50 against Federer ………. if he never plays again he will remember that after-match hug for ever!

One thing's for sure - a Murray final is not a good alternative to HRT!

Must admit I like the cycling.

You get interesting scenery as well.  (The mountains, not the riders)

Himself keeps telling me how Murray is getting on/not but I don't understand it all - why not toss for it, it's obvious that they don't know how it affects viewers  :D

It's been a good week for the Brits/Scots/Manx ;-)

Even I watched the end ……. and how relaxed whilst talking with the Royals and pausing to have photos with the younger Members.

I didn't realise Ivan lendl was his coach!!! Brought back memories of years ago with him and John arguing on those courts. Anyway as clkd said it's been a good week. Yippee!
