Hi ladies, I've been on Femoston sequi for nearly 2 months now & doing well ... apart from VA (mainly burning & itching on the outside areas) which has been a bugger these last 2 weeks. I've been using Ovestin twice a week after doing the prescribed 'overload' for the first 2 weeks & I get immediate relief when I use it. Does anyone know if it's OK to use it everyday when I get a flare up? I've been using Sylk & Vagisil but they're not helping. If anyone has used/is using Ovestin everyday please let me know! Thanks x

Im sure I read on here of ladies that do. Hopefully they will be along soon to tell you themselves.

Thank you x

I never managed to use Ovestin for just two days a week, I used it every other day for over a year before changing to Vagifem.
Up your dose :)

To add.....I use Vagifem every day, meno specialist said it was perfectly safe to do so. As Ovestin is also topical I would imagine it is quite safe to use every day, especially for a short flare up.

Thanks Tinkerbell that's good to hear x

Yep. It's fine. If I get a return of symptoms I use it 3 nights in a row then back to 3/5-6 night as well as Savlon on the outer lips if necessary. It's a bit Trial and Error, all this ::)

Thanks ladies! X

My gynaecologist has prescribed either Ovestin every day or vagifem 2 twice a week.
