I am on Femoston 2/10 for over three years. I started at 50. I have a very heavy bleed some months and other months light. I work out most days and watch my diet but can't seem to shed the weight. I am around 1 stone over weight since I started the tablets. For the past month I have bad cramps, like period pains and I am bloated.
My question is should stop taking Femoston and hope for the best. I am not sure if my periods have stopped as I was still getting irregular periods when I started Femoston 1/10 and then went onto Femoston 2/10
Any suggestions ladies?

I started a break from HRT last week to see what my own cycle is up to and to see if I still need it, after much deliberation. I must say I've lost 3 pounds during the past week and my clothes are looser, whether that's just bloating going down or actual weight loss, I don't know but I know last time I had a break from HRT I lost almost half a stone in a month with no changes to diet, etc.
Hope you come to a decision.

Thank you Liz.
I think I will take a break and see how I get on.
Have a good weekend.
