Title: Advice please - non-menopause
Post by: CLKD on June 23, 2016, 02:45:03 PM
Recently, I was trawling the net one evening and saw my Aunt's house is for sale  :-\.  Now I'm worried that something bad has happened  :'( ……… it was the only house in which I felt safe as a child.  If it had a larger garden I would go for it myself  ::).

I ought to ring her children but I feel too vulnerable as to what I might hear ……….. my anxiety has been 'up' since I saw the details …………..

Depends on how close you are to her children. Would they not inform you if the worst had happened? My cousin never told us when my aunt & uncle passed. I found out when care home returned Christmas cards!  She may just have moved to something smaller or a care home CLKD.

Im sure if it was something like your Aunt passing away your cousins would have been in touch. Probably as cubagirl says she's decided to downsize or go into a carehome/sheltered accommodation .

I agree with Hasty. You were obviously close to her at some point even if you are no longer in touch. It would be good to know one way or the other.

Never any arguments with those particular members. I have sent a note to the family and await a response.

That's a good idea. I just wondered why you were no longer in touch.

At last news of my Aunt who is now very frail and now living with her children.  Hence the reason that the house is for sale.

I now need to tell my Mum but she's out and about so won't be home to answer the 'phone  ::)
