I'm not going to specsavers again either BJ, they recommended varifocals & after I took them back because I couldn't get on with them, they said that the advisor should never have recommended them for someone with my eye condition in the first place.

I hope they replaced them for you at no extra cost cazikins, or gave you a refund.

I went to an independent optician thinking they would be better but had quite an unpleasant experience in their hands.  My husband has always done very well with vision express so I tried them and was very pleasantly surprised, so I have stayed with them.  Perhaps I need to pay them a visit soon  ::)

They ended up replacing the one pair of varifocals for a pair of glasses for close up & another for distance which is what I asked for in the first place.....

we aint half gonna get a telling off from CLKD soon for talking about glasses on the wrong topic.  ;D ;D ;D

I think I'm beyond Specsavers  ::) - I did a 'search' and it didn't show up  :D

My eyes are gritty and sore since the Germ though  :-\.

Thanks - I've been using a light mist over my closed eyelids which eases it, didn't have as much sticky eyelids this morning.
