I have suffered intermittently with restless leg syndrome for years.  I can feel the legs 'drawing' in the day and if I sleep on the settee in the afternoon, they are no problem.  But when I get into bed they start, immediately!  I've tried sleeping with legs elevated on a double blanket under the mattress, with legs up the wall  ::) but I found by chance that bananas stop the sensations within 5 nights!  For me it's lack of potassium.

Nurofen taken 10 mins. before bed time can help too.

2mg Valium ain't much good!  Won't touch the sides  ::).
