Title: Evorel sequi - feeling odd.
Post by: MIS71MUM on June 13, 2016, 09:13:04 AM
I'm on Day 18 on the above and on Day 4 of the combined patch and feel strange.

Almost euphoric and have energy but could almost cry and tremble at the same time.....have a background headache and yet again my glands have swollen up and my nose is running. I sort of feel like a coiled spring.

Today is going to be interesting :-\.

Sorry to hear you're feeling odd - it is quite normal though especially if you are new to HRT. Also the combi/conti phase which you are on can lead to side effects - a bit like pms and this type certainly gave me headaches. I did stay on it for 3 months before changing. Hope the side effects settle soon.

If you have swollen glands and runny nose though - couldn't it just be a bug?

It's been quite strange since being on the evorel because I do feel like my mood is beginning to improve slowly.  So I feel like the oestrogen dose may be right for me.  So I just need to see how I react to the progesterone phase now.  Just out of interest, do ladies use a patch with oestrgoen only and separate progesterone? As I am thinking this may be my next step if this doesn't work.  I've looked on the treatments for peri, but can only see 2 types of patch available.
