Title: Ovestin & grazing - ok to use?
Post by: Dorothy on June 07, 2016, 09:14:26 PM
I managed to jab myself with the applicator last time I used my Ovestin cream (one of those random menopausal muscle stabs made me jump just as I was applying it!)  It's left me feeling a bit sore so I think I've grazed myself.  Is it ok to apply the next lot of cream if there is a graze in there?  I see on the notes with the cream that it's used to promote healing post-op so I'm hoping that means it would be ok.

It may sting a bit, but I can't see that it would do any harm.

Thanks.  It gets really painful if I forget to use it anyway, so I think I'd rather put up with the stinging from the graze than the constant discomfort from waiting till it's healed!

I would continue to use it.
