Hello! I'm a newbie to this forum so still learning the ropes .
I do have a question to any ladies who are using testerone HRT. I was prescribed testogel , 1 ml by my gynae a few months ago. I have been using it for a few weeks to date but not sure what is the best time of the day to apply the gel. Morning or night .
At present I am using it about 10/11 am after my morning shower.
I struggle with insomnia ..I fall asleep easily but 4am I'm awake and unable to get back to sleep .
Lookimg forward to,hearing from others experience .

I use anything applied into the vagina at night. Less chance of it oozing out ;)

Thanks CLKD for your reply. The testogel has to be applied to the tummy ...not vaginally!

I was told to apply mine to inner thigh but started to get a bit hairier there so now I vary it from inner thighs (several sites) and tummy - and always in the morning.

But it takes a while to dry, much longer than estrogel. If I applied it to my tummy I would have to wait about 45 mins before dressing.

Well I would be interested to know the reasoning of this - I mean the forearm is as far away from any of our gynaecological women's bits as you can get! The Intrinsa patches (testosterone for women) were supposed to be applied to the front lower abdomen so I decided it was OK to put there as well as thigh.
If this is wrong/ill-advised I would like to know!!! Chi chi I thought you had yours from Studd too? Is it possible for someone who sees him to check this out for the rest of us please?!

Hurdity, I queried it with his nurse who explained it was a good place to apply as your under forearms have little hair.

Thanks GypsyRoseLee - that's not to say it won't grow any though after repeated application! At least it's not because of any concern about the application site and absorption close to our organs! In my case under forearm would not be a good place as it seems to leave a white residue after it has dried so this would show mostly (except in deep winter) - although I presume I could wipe it off after a while? Also more potential to transfer to others from arms than inner legs - but doubtful this would be significant?

I have applied it to my lower tummy this morning, as an experiment. It does take a good while to dry though. Much slower than the gel.
I have been using it for 2 months, but if anything, my libido seems worse? But that could be the AD I take?
