Title: Moving date !

At last we have a moving date,19 th Aug as DH has to give 12 weeks notice.

So much now to do and scary times ahead ! Ive been here 25 years so even though I want to move it will be a big wrench. DH has no job to go to so giant leap of faith by both of us  ::)

How lovely, our son fell in love with Snowdinia when he did the three peaks challenge  :)

Hope all goes well.

We have been in our present house for 29 years and we have no plans to move.  It's just the right size for us now the children have all left home and hubby has made it look lovely for us  :)

Very pleased for you Dazned. I admire your courage and wish you all the best for the future.
I have lived in my house for 27 years and would find it very daunting to leave.
But equally the thought of a new adventure is exciting. Can you keep us up to date with how it goes?

We have had enough of towns/cities ,people have no time anymore for anyone round here,alot of properties are now rented out and there seems to be no pride in the gardens etc.       Gosh I sound like my mum !  ;D

Today we've packed and sorted dvds and started a crate for a bootmarket  ::)
Loads to do yet. Only the small stuff needs doing as we have a first time buyer so will leave all the furniture kitchen stuff for him ,the house in Wales was bought and furnished back in Feb. He's struck it lucky  ;)

It will be daunting to move and our house here is perfect for us having spent years getting it just so ,when we're inside its great but open that front door and go out ! Grrr its just horrible !  :-\
Feel like a stranger in my own home town so we felt we had to get out while the prices were still good and South east prices are high now so hopefully we will have enough left over to tide us whilst DH finds work  ::)
