Chris Evans interviewed a lady from Switzerland yesterday who is part of a Yodelling Choir  :o.  There are competitions in Basel every 3 years ………  could we have a meno yodelling group  ;)  ???

I looooove yodelling - hearing it, that is, not doing it!   Wonderful way of singing and so unique to Austria!   (I think......?)

Years ago I got pulled up on to a stage in a restaurant/bar in Austria & was expected to yodel  ;D ;D YES alcohol was involved. The guy told me that all I had to sing was:

"The older lady say"

But all I could do was giggle.

I forgot to mention that a bratwurst sausage was also involved in the stage show  :o :o NO NO it wasn't like that!! it was just a bit of harmless family fun - & it was years ago.

I love the sound of yodelling.  It makes me think of the Alps and scenes from Heidi........
