Title: Evorel 50?
Post by: ellie555 on April 28, 2016, 08:49:01 PM
I have been on Evorel 50 patches for two months but on reading posts on the forum I have doubts wether I should be on it as I have not had a hysterectomy.  Can anyone offer any help.  Thank you in advance.

Can't help sorry.  Have you used the 'search' button to put Evorel 50 into the box to see if other ladies have been prescribed it?

If you have not had a hysterectomy, you need a progesterone too. Are you taking any other medication that perhaps contains this, like a mini-pill maybe? Or maybe you have a mirena coil fitted?

I agree - you need a progesterone in some form. If you are still having periods then you will need Evorel Sequi (if you haven't got a mirena coil fitted) or if you are more than a year without a period then Evorel Conti is the one.
