I just had the strangest thing happen and wondered if anyone else has ever felt the same. While I was sleeping I felt very giddy in my dream, it woke me up. Although I don't feel as bad now I definitely feel a little wobbly now. Could it be hormone related, a hot flush in my sleep maybe? It's left me feeling shakey and anxious, a panic attack while asleep? Please, anyone ever had this?

I have not, but thought I should reply since you're obviously awake and concerned. I feel all out of sorts if anything wakes me in the night. Maybe your dream just woke you with a fright and you should be sleeping so you feel wobbly?

How are you now?

I'm feeling better than I was, but worried it will happen tonight.

It could be that you woke suddenly. That you have a nerve in your neck that becomes trapped on movement, I get a similar sensation if I turn my head during the day, makes me feel weird for a few secs., enough to make me go 'ouch'!

Could be your blood pressure dropping it sounds similar to something i had and discovered that my blood pressure was doing in laying down

I dream I am dizzy and wake up and I am dizzy. I have awfully damaged neck and the wrong position in sleep can trigger vertigo. You can have panic attacks in your sleep that will wake you up as well.
I'm not saying you have a bad neck, just that you could have got your neck in an awkward position and our necks control out balance as much as our inner ears and this could have triggered dizziness which would wake you.

Thank you, it's good to know I am not alone. That's exactly what happened. Thinking about it my neck and shoulders have been feeling a little tense over the past week, so maybe it's that.
