Hi I am just turned 46 and went to the drs as I was getting flushes loss of libido etc he did all the blood tests and has today confirmed I have barely any Oestrogen at all ......

I left with a script for Everol 50 patches as I have a merina coil fitted, no idea what to expect  can anyone give me some guidance please as I feel lost

Have a good look round and you will see that you are not alone anymore. You should pick up soon with your patch but as you are very low on estrogens dont expect miracles overnight give it chance to build up  ;)

If the Mirena has suited you thus far then this is great as you don't need to use any other progesterone.  Adding in the oestrogen will probably make you feel much better within a couple of weeks. Enjoy getting your life back.  DG x

Thank you I have had a peek at some of the threads  it seems that my symptoms are no where near  the level some others are suffering so fingers crossed it wont be to bad :)
