Evening ladies, i have asthma and would say it is well controlled. I use the preventative inhahers and very rarely have to use the blue ventolin (when i do it doesn't really make a difference). A couple of years ago i had a lung function test carried out at the hospital and it showed that i had narrowing of the upper airways and said it was like a kind of copd. I don't have a great peak flow rate and the highest i have had in a long time is 300,( it's usually 275.) I don't get wheezy very often and i can walk fast, go up stairs in fact do most things will not much problems. For about the last 2 weeks i have been wheezy off and on and i thought it was the start of a cold which came to nothing. Anyway it seems to be back and it has me coughing quite a lot. When i breath out it catches my breath making me cough. I have got my ectopic heartbeats back again and have had them for a week now, what i wanted to know, are any of you ladies finding you have the same thing at the moment and do any of you get this when you have the ectopics. Will try and get a Dr's appointment in the morning just in case i need to take something for this.

Have you tried taking the blue ventolin at present and seeing if it makes a difference? It sounds like your asthma to me especially if you're wheezy.
My friend has asthma that comes under the umbrella of COPD. She really struggles at times with her breathing especially if she has a cold.
I would definitely go to the Dr in the morning.

It's that time of year for pollen - willow is about now and oil seed rape has started to ripen after the sunshine and recent rain!

Hi ladies went to the Dr this morning and my lungs sounded a bit noisey so he has given me antibiotics and steroids (prednisolin), not sure about the steroids though as i need to take 6 a day for a week.
