Title: Your hormones and HRT hormones
Post by: Spangles on March 21, 2016, 05:28:41 AM
Hi
Can anyone tell me what they feel like when their own hormones kick in when you are using HRT?
I'm in the usual menopause state and feel really bad again. Any feedback would be welcome.
Thanks

I don't know but would think that your hormones can over-whelm any treatment for a while which increases symptoms?

Some days I would feel fine and other days I would crash with all the symptoms returning. When I was consistently having symptoms I would increase the patch which would make me feel better again. I changed after about 6 months increasing from 50 to 75 patch. After this I switched to a continuous low dose pill. This has been the best option for me so far.
