Title: Periods on HRT
Post by: jedigirl on February 21, 2016, 03:51:08 PM
Just wondered if anyone knows what kind of period you should expect to have on HRT? I am on Utrogestan 1-14 days and 2 pumps Oestragel but my periods are getting lighter and lighter. Although it is a period and not spotting i only need a slim liner and could get away with only one a day.
Does this mean my periods would probably have stopped if i weren't on HRT? Should they be consistent on HRT? They had shortened to every three weeks before i went onto HRT and once i had a gap of three months with none at all. Thank you.

Haven't a clue what the answer is, but am giving this a bump in the hope someone more knowledgeable will come along and help you  :)      B

jedigirl - we are different and the withdrawal bleed we get will depend on all sorts of things. As long as you are not getting erratic and/or heavy bleeding I'm sure it's fine.  dG

Thanks both,
It's fairly regular and definitely not heavy 😊
