Hi, I have been on 50 mcg Estraderm patch and 200mcg Utrogestan for 2 or 3 years now and
all is fine. However, for the first time since beginning this regime I did not have a bleed this time.
I use the Utrogestan bi-monthly and sometimes 3 monthly if a special occasion coming up.
I finish the Utro on a Friday and can guarantee a bleed on the Sunday.
Is it anything to worry about ? Or could it be my womb lining is thin ? Not sure if it needs a trip to
the Doctor or not.
Any info would be good.
Regards
Diana

Ive used utrogestan for 3 years and I have never had a heavy bleed. They are always scanty and only last 2-3 days. I don't think its anything to be concerned about but you could see your Doc if your worried.
I am using 3 pumps of oestrogel now and still not much of a bleed.

Diana - as I understand it, if your womb lining had build up enough to shed then a course of progesterone will shed it - even if it is not all shed if you see what I mean. I presume you take a full course eg 12 days or more? Also do you take it orally?
