I was on Kliofem for a month and found a positive response to my aching knees and hips.
Did/does anyone else have a good response to their joint problems taking HRT?
Just wondering as since I am off it my knees starts acting up again.

Yes HRT is known to have this effect. Lack of oestrogen can give us the stiffness and pain in muscles and joints. I am much better when on it and can get up from sitting for a long time without that horrible ache in the legs and knees.

I need WD40! ;D Really bad hands at the moment. They lock if kept in same position too long. :( I restarted HRT,though not for that reason. Not made any difference.

Have you had them looked at CG? I know I keep mentioning Vitamin D but a friend had her level checked - wrists, fingers, ankles and toes were getting excruciatingly painful - and it was really low. Three months of intensive therapy and she is feeling so much better with very little pain or stiffness now. She's 62 and not on HRT although still flushing...

I'm on BCP with a break every 3 months and I'm practically crippled when I'm on my break - took my last tablet yesterday, so I'm not looking forward to tomorrow as that's when the 'fun' is due to start!

Take calcium & vit D daily Taz. GP just poo-pood it when I mentioned 6 months ago. I can't do much knitting these days & as for opening jars, well forget it. I've bought gadgets to help, but hubby usually takes over.

Sparkle what brand?

This morning I was really stiff. And had some horrid flushes all of a sudden.
So I have put myself back on HRT tablets. I am jo-jo'ing round a bit, but those flushes this morning and the pain in the knees scared me.

Thank you sparkle. I've been a bit like that for VA & muscle problems. Finally realised that it is the menopause. Hoping it will help. If it does I would not want to ever give it up. It's my hips today

Very sore hands today. Woke up with both hands locked this morning. Had to carefully stretch them out one finger at a time. Can you pass me the WD40 please.
-
Appointment made for next week thanks. Not so sore today.
