The delicious Mr Rickman has passed away, only 69. He was a superb actor!
-
Are they queuing up at the Pearly Gates :o ……….. can't visualise him and BBC News don't have a photo yet.
-
He was a fantastic professor Snape in the Harry Potter films.
-
As well as Snape, I know his as the Sheriff of Nottingham in 'Robin Hood Prince of Thieves', and Hans Gruger in 'Die Hard'. He was in 'Truly, Madly, Deeply, too, but I really don't like chick-flicks so I've not seen that one!
He made a wonderful 'baddy' - so sad.
-
Now that I've watched the News I remember him in Harry Potter.
-
More sadness this week :'(
This is one of my favourite Texas tunes - nice moves!

Thank you for the wonderful screen memories Alan. You will be sorely missed, always.

He was also the lovely, handsome Colonel Brandon in Sense and Sensibility. He was in a lot of other films like Stardust and played a good baddy.
-
Such a shame.
He was brilliant as the Sheriff of Nottingham.
-
And the cheating husband in "Love Actually".........
-
Oh that voice! Always gave me a delicious shiver ;)

Did anyone see him in Barchester Chronicles as the wonderfully slimy Mr Slope?
