Title: Any one have aching legs?
Post by: Smokey on January 07, 2016, 09:11:14 AM
Every morning as soon as I'm out of bed my legs start to ache, just wondered if anyone else gets these .  Could this be low oestrogen one wrist hurts too like it's bruised.

I'm 50 in April but have never really had hot flushes more like hot glows in my face , but not had any of them back, well I say that but I do sometimes after eating a hot meal and somethings after a hot drink but not all the time. I've been on Hrt for five years now and did increase to 75 mg patch about 6 months ago.

Any advise welcome ladies.

Yes. In fact today I'm aching all over. I'm blaming the weather.

I've had aching legs and arms for the past few days but I think I caught a virus from my nephews over Christmas!

As oestrogen levels drop muscles can become lax = aches and pains  >:(

Is it bad enough to take pain relief?

Thanks ladies

Yes Clkd sometimes it is bad enough to take medication but don't you get fed up keep taking pills?

On the plus side I was reducing my Nortriptyline gradually as I didn't think I needed them, I was prescribed them for tension heads five years ago and now after being down to 25mg for past 4 weeks have noticed the difference 1. No constipation 2. No side effects 3. No return of headaches
And lastly 4. Starting losing weight! So it wasn't the Hrt that made me gain it after all!

Maybe my aching legs was a Virus after all.
