Does anyone else get a headache as their period finishes? I am on day 14 of my period (bleeding has been lasting longer since starting peri) and have developed a stonking headache. It's making me feel a little nauseous as well. Is it normal as the bleeding finishes, could it be hormonal?

I used to get migraine headaches most periods. The good news is I no longer get them post monopausal.

Me too. Thankfully I feel better today, just a dull feeling lingering.

I used to get migraines after my very heavy and very painful periods, every time since the age of 13, which lasted for 2 days on top of the period usually lasting a week. Before the period I used to get quite aggressive mood swings. Working was quite bad for me. I was anemic and used to get lots of colds as well.
There was a German study, which stated that if you are on hormone supplements and suffer from Migraines then to urgently review them as there is a risk on strokes etc. There were a couple of pills that were pulled from the German market, but are still available in the UK. This was of course years ago but just want to throw this into the mix, but don't want to alarm. But you may wish to discuss this with your doctor.
