Title: Wedding Anniversary
Post by: Ju Ju on December 20, 2015, 10:26:57 AM
It's our 35th wedding anniversary today!

Lovely DH had booked a table at a really great pub nearby for lunch, but I am having to cry off. I went to see my choir sing yesterday, but even though I was delivered to the door and sat down just for an hour, it exhausted me. So we've going to save the meal out for next year, when I am fully recovered from my op and can enjoy it.

PS. I would still yes today, if we weren't already married. And he's far more romantic now than he ever was when we were young!

Hello Ju Ju and happy anniversary!

I read somewhere that as men age and their testosterone levels decline they become 'softer' emotionally. It was also suggested that after the menopause we become 'harder' emotionally as we've lost so much oestrogen which is our nurturing hormone. The writer said they thought the sexes still balanced each other out but sort of swapped roles!

Hope you have a lovely day.

K.

Happy Anniversary Mr & Mrs Ju Ju. We're 3 years ahead of you. No mean feat in this day & age. I'd marry my hubby again too.

Better to wait until you are stronger before having that special meal.

 :congrats:

I have a friend whose birthday is on Christmas Day. Now that really isn't fair! I would demanded an official birthday like the queen!

There's a section in a paper recently about those of us born 'now' - if we should have a party in June  ;D
