Hi to all ,im finding it really hard to sleep at night and if by some miracle i do fall asleep im awake again a few hours later, i switched taking my climagest to night time ... anybody got any hints or tips for me to try would be most grateful
This was one of my problems before i started HRT...I hoped HRT would help but sadly not for me ..

Not sure it's related to HRT. I'm on Estradot patches & I have problems getting to sleep. Often still awake at 2-3am. Then I waken about 6ish & doze after that. Very tiring.

yes cubagirl sounds just like me was prescribed Zopiclone but i hate taking them,as its a sleeping tablet and not good for you . so im hoping someone can share some hints and tips tried magnesium oil but that did,nt work . :'(

I got Zopiclone short term, but although it helps for a while it's breaking the habit of poor sleep that seems to take forever. Magnesium oil didn't work for me either. I can't take any of the Valerian tablets as they make me queasy. GP suggested antihistamines which cause drowsiness. Hard to get though.

I bought melatonin from Majorca. It's safe for kids with autism so know it's ok. I use just a quarter of a pill so only 0.50mg and it works a treat. I take it at around 10pm, have light supper, read fir about 20 minutes, then bingo off to sleep. I still wake for the loo at least twice but go back off, usually sleep until 9am.
