Title: Hello from a newbie
Post by: Ohgoodnessme on November 23, 2015, 01:29:42 PM
Plucked up courage to visit the doctor last week convinced that my anxiety/depression had returned. After running through other symptoms I'm experiencing she's certain that it's the menopause. She happy to prescribe HRT based on my symptoms and age (51) alone. She's sent me away with some reading but I think I'm going to give it a go. Just struggling at the moment to get an actual appointment.

Thank you for the welcome. Lots of great info & advice on here. My poor befuddled brain is struggling to take it all in! I'm hoping to get an appt with my GP on Thursday afternoon (I work mornings & she only works two afternoons) by when, hopefully, I'll have made a decision. Every time I think I've made up my mind to try I read something about the cancer risks (my biggest fear) which makes me question it all over again!
