Hi has anyone tired the above for hot flushers, plus fibromyalgia thank-you, was the side effects bad or ok

I took Duloxetine for suspected Fibro (it wasnt). It's chemically similar to Venlafaxine, I believe. From what I remember, the side effects of V tend to be kinder than D, but D is better for pain relief? I stand to be corrected on that. Hope you get some more  replies soon as I havent been much help. Didnt want to read and run x

Hello - I have taken Venlafaxine and am currently on Duloxetine.  I took the v 12 years ago. I can't comment on what either meds do for pain as I am on it due to anxiety and depression.  I can remember the v made me hot when I wasn't even peri at that stage. I think it does pass but you may have to give a month to 6 weeks for it to pass.
