Hi
I've been using utrogestan for almost 2 years now. The last couple of months I have started bleeding about a week early. Is this a normal thing after such a long time of using it?
Thanks

If you are peri-menopausal then your own cycle can cause this. Also do you take it orally? If so perhaps something has happened re your digestive system to reduce the amount that was absorbed?
I wouldn't actually worry but see how it goes - as Stellajane says if it turns out you end up bleeding more and at weird times, it could be that you need a higher dose of utro?
It happened to me last cycle - I bled just before the end of the Utro course which has never ever happened in 8 years of taking HRT!

Hi Ladies
I've been to my GP today and have an ultrasound booked. I'm already using 200mg of utrogestan so I don't think there's much room for movement on that.
I also have some minor thickening in my breast so I have a mammogram appointment on its way too!
It's all happening!

Good luck with the scan and mammogram and fingers crossed all is OK.
Re increasing the progesterone - a higher dose can either mean more prog for the same number of days per month, or increasing the number of days but on the same dose.
Keep us posted anyway and hope all goes well :)

Yes, I have this. I put a post up recently about my experience. I've bled this month on day 2 of my Utro and have done before.
Hope your tests go OK.

Hi
I only went to my doctor yesterday and I got my letter for my mammogram today! I go on Tuesday!
Can't believe how fast it came.
