Post by: TropicalVon69 on October 20, 2015, 01:34:35 PM
I know this sounds off the wall ladies but does anyone have a fear or paranormal stuff?.....I feel so oversensitive sometimes that any movement or a gust of wind feels like something threatening......I have been so much better but just at tail end of my period and feel utterly drained and paranoid......have that odd wired feeling creeping up my neck.....nope lol not health anxiety for me.....mind brings up every scary movie and book I've read wtf!!!......so tempted to try hrt again but felt wired starting that too....was very busy yesterday....could that be why I'm so anxious today?.....feel nuts!!!!

You have probably used up your energy levels!  For me the fluttering of leaves is soothing ……. sudden movements can spook me such as spiders scuttling across the carpet  :o

Cutting out coffee might be worth trying, I find it makes me really queasy and slightly 'off'.

Low energy can make the jitters worse.  Keep hydrated.  Eat regularly  ;)

Maybe try some soothing herbal teas?

Oh, and probably better stop watching scary films too  ;)

Do you have an alarm feature on your mobile, in order to remind you to eat?  ;) …….. or an old fashioned alarm clock close by ………

I have never watched scary films apart from Don't Look Now which haunts me to this day  :o - I can't see a red cape without feeling peculiar and shaky  :-\ ……..

They hangs on a bit though Honeybun  :( ….. and it's usually as I am dropping off to sleep that it comes back! with a jolt!

Oh, they are films......filmed by dozens of camera men with paid actors .....what's to be scared of.

The real world is more scary than any movie.....if your going to worry about anything then worry about that  ;D

I can deal with the real World, it's the memories that jolt me as I'm dropping off to sleep that I can't control  ::)

Anything scary can remain in the brain centre and leaps out when the person is not in control, i.e. when dropping off to sleep.  Or under stress or suffering with guilt.

Could be ...separated at birth.   ;D

Guilt is a waste of energy. If it's in the past then that's it.....the past. Can't change what's happened, can change what's in the now though.

Why stress about what you can never change.

Because guilt over-rides any logic.
