Has anyone else had lots of bloating to the point of it being painful.
The progesterone 2 weeks seems to start it off, usually the oestrogen 2 weeks calms it down but not today it's not.
Granted I'm still only on second month of it, but from my ribs to just below belly button is really sore and my belly feels and is huge.
I know the side effects say bloating but flipping heck not like this.
Any ideas I've tried mints and hot water etc.
Maybe after the 3 months is up I can go on the mainly oestrogen patch sequential with the small amount of nothisterone for 2 weeks.
I haven't withdrawal bleed either but that's most likely linked to the ablation I had last year.
Apart from that it seems to work.

I hate the belatedness of all the hormonal problems from my teens onwards, because it equals nausea!

My gp warned me this was possible with sequential patches and suggested I took evorel estrogen only patches separate to the progesterone. I took Utrogestan for twelve days a month, and had no bloating or wind. Perhaps that's something you could consider?
It's good that your bloating is cyclical as that suggests it is less likely to be something sinister, but I would still get it checked to be sure x

I hated the bloating - any improvement?

It's calmed down finally today but has taken a week on the Evorel patches and a belly dancing class to do it. Had to undo zip and button on trousers yesterday at work . Good idea about taking the progesterone separately. I've got an apt with Dr tomorrow about cortisone injections for my knee so if he has time I'll ask him.

I kept wondering how you were feeling. I HATED the belatedness each month :-[
