Title: Normal discharge?

Hello, fairly new to the site and finding lots of useful help, however I have been experiencing a lot of very wet discharge, sometimes its lightly blood streaked sometimes not, have to use a panty liner! Periods all over the place, don't now if they are coming or going.   :-\
Plus all the other usual symptoms - night sweats, low mood, anxiety, loss of concentration, etc. Worried these may start affecting my work. Any one else experienced the discharge thing before? Considering going to see my GP for advice.

Hi Helen,

Yes I'm going through a similar thing at the mo. Have just missed my second period. Last month my period consisted of a few days with very light brown discharge. In between I've been plagued with this watery discharge. It's not there all the time but it's enough to need a panty liner at others. Also, now and again when I stand up I get a little "gush" with it (sorry tmi). It doesn't itch and there is no smell to it. I guess it ties in with starting to miss periods so probably hormonal.

What you both describe is exactly what I'm experiencing. Thanks, nice to know I'm not alone and its a meno thing and nothing else. Will look for other posts on the forum about it.

You might have already read my thread ("Normal?")? The last couple of years I've had pretty unpredictable discharge too. Just this month I had a period lasting for about 4 days. Three days later I got this thick, pinkish mucus discharge and the following day it was stretchy eggwhite mucus. Now, a couple of days later, I'm mostly "wet". Don't really know what to make of it...

This is exactly what I have off and on - never had it until I started skipping some periods so you are not alone!

Hi I'm still very new to all of this. I missed one period in September and boy did the discharge make up for it. Not smelly,but white like cream. I got a period last week very heavy and no pain (opisite to usual) and the day before it came I got a thick stretchy pinky clear discharge. The blood finished yesterday and the white creamy discharge is back. I've never had problems with discharge till now.
