Even her sister didn't know she was suffering with breast cancer, only her daughters. RIP Jackie.

Apparently Jackie was on The 1 Show 2 weeks ago …… haven't been watching recently.

Yes she was CLKD - she looked a bit thin but ok and was on about her new book.  Apparently she had breast cancer but never told anyone until very recently . She didn't want to burden anyone.

I have never read any of her books; they have never appealed to me.  They have been sounding more interesting with all the publicity  ::)  Can anyone recommend one to try?

Perhaps try getting one out of the library............

I did enjoy her own story though, I had no idea that was how she started.

I read 'Lucky' in my teens, enjoyed that - but it was a long time ago ;)

The library bus comes on Thursday - perhaps I should pop in and see if they have one at all - doesn't pay to be to picky  ;D

Her books are very over the top raunchy.....I read one and to be honest was not impressed at all. I wouldn't waste my time, but that's just me  ::)
