Title: Hatton Garden Robbery.
Post by: honeybun on September 04, 2015, 07:14:08 PM
Now it's probably just me and the strange way my brain works.....but.

I have this image in my head of all these old age pensioners in a dimly lit room pouring over plans. It's good enough to be a film.

Now I hope I'm not going to get into trouble ....but I really wish they had got away with it.

I just think it's the most daring old fashioned raid in decades......and I want them to get away with it.

Told you all I am a bit strange.

Anyone kind of agree  ::)

They stole from others though Honeybun ………. doesn't matter what age group.  They have stolen stuff from a place which was supposed to be secure.  That's the big problem, lack of security for goods for which people have paid huge amounts of dosh ………… I remember the Great Train Robbery  :-\ …….

I know but it was a raid by pensioners  ;D

Just makes me smile.

In this country the sentences for crimes against money, banks, government are far greater than crimes against people.
So....it injured no one and the fact it must have been planned over years amuses me.
A victimless crime ?... Bet insurance companies are paying out though.

You don't mean stuff that was 'nicked'  :o - no, surely  not  ;)

How they could dig under for some long without anyone being aware amazes me ………. and not look guilty on their way home  :D

Now I wonder what things have been claimed for.... ;D

Insurance companies must have many a tail told.
