Title: Night sweats, itchy scalp
Post by: Forgetmenot on August 25, 2015, 06:53:28 PM
So my night sweats are getting worse, particularly in this humid weather and despite using TGel shampoo my scalp has red itchy patches. My GP tells me I have seborrhoeic dermatitis and has given me steroid cream for the worse bits and a head wash for just before bed to massage in. Is this what I have to look forward to for the next few years or can indo anything else to help the problem and irritation? Thanks for any advice

My son has had this Forgetmenot - the itching drove him mad. He gets it mainly when stressed.

There is info here which might be helpful http://www.bupa.co.uk/health-information/directory/s/seborrhoeic-dermatitis

Thanks that was useful. I am now wondering if I should invest in a cold pillow?. Read up on the follow pillow but not keen as it appears to be quite heavy. Has anyone used something like this to keep cool when sleeping?
