Hello (again!)
So I'm on my 12th day of Uterogestan (100) and Oestrogel (1pump).. Last had a period on 2 Aug-6 Aug I had a breakthrough bleed on day 5 (ish) and now today am having really bad cramps and browny discharge
Anyone else had this?
Am I going to have to abandon the whole thing again?
Really hope not as was hoping to establish it and get a regular bleed every 28 days, not every other week!
help!

Hi I believe most new regimes will take a while to settle. Apart from the bleeding are you generally feeling well on it ? If so keep on with it I'm sure you will soon settle down with it .

Hi abbyH
I am a but confused about your regime. I presume as you are still having periods you are on a cyclical regime ie Utrogestan for 12-14 days out of 28? If you are still peri-menopausal then your own hormones can breakthrough sometimes so you have beleeding at the "wrong" time. Having said that you are not on a high dose of oestrogen. It may well take your body a while to adjust if you've only just started this regime too. What were you doing before - were you on HRT or is this your first attempt? Apologies if you've said elsewhere but I can't remember!

Hi Hurdity, this is my first real attempt, I had to abandon it before as had to take some other meds for my fibroid :(
I'm doing 100mgs for 25 out of 28 days along with 1 pump of oestrogel..
The breakthrough bleeding seems to have stopped it was very mild but was slightly worried I was going to get a period...
yes I'm peri
and very hormonal, with sore swollen boobs a lot of the time
but other than that, feeling great, much better (re energy and mood)
