Title: Woke up Feeling Dizzy
Post by: toffeecushion on August 07, 2015, 11:46:46 PM
I have just woken up in the middle of  the night feeling really giddy, the giddiness actually woke me up.  I am also feeling very hot.  Wondering if this is a night sweat.  Anyone else had the same?

Hello toffeecushion.

I haven't actually experienced the dizziness but with so much else going on, where would I find the time lol? What I do recognise though is the way these unpleasant sensations can wake you up. I've certainly had that with anxiety and headaches.
I'm afraid I don't have the solution but I do offer my sympathy.

Wishing you well and take care.

K.

That feeling between half waking and still asleep can make us feel woozy as can a nerve in the back of the neck if slightly impacted.  As can the body being hungry or thirsty  ::)

It's happened again this morning. It's so scary, I hate it so much. I don't want to be alone today but can't expect my husband to stay off work.

Hi toffeecushion,
I'm also having loads of dizziness at the moment. I feel like I'm moving when I'm stood still, sometimes have a whoosh of dizziness and feel like I'm going to fall, can't think clearly, feel hot but a bit shaky too. Also my periods are all over the place, every two weeks and mucousy. I woke in a panic this morning, achy ovaries, and came down to google symptoms (bad idea).
This is not fun but at least we understand each other  :-\ hugs

JediGirl,

Thank you so much for reply, sorry to hear your are having a bad time too.  I am feeling so sorry for myself today.  Hate waking up like this, I just felt giddy and hot.  I thought maybe it is a hot sweat of some kind.  My periods have been acting up lately.  The last 3 the bleeding has lasted 2 -3 weeks at a time, now this month I am 2 weeks late.  It's a hard time in our lives.

Hope your day improves and thanks for being there when I needed someone to understand.

Saladgirl, I get intermittent sharp aches in both my ankles. I got comfy on the sofa earlier, and both ankles were perfectly fine.

Just got up from the sofa, and winced because left ankle is now so sore and aching. I hobbled out of the living room. It must be hormone related.

And I'm ten years younger than you!
