Post by: Anjia on July 03, 2015, 04:23:14 PM
Thinking of asking my doctor to change my oestrogen pill from 2mg to 1mg so I can take one in the morning and one at night as I have a few symptoms come back. I hope this can even things out as I don't really want to change to another route ,does anyone else do it this way I want to stick with the pill better the devil you no I think x

What symptoms are returning? Why not switch to transdermal - it can actually be a more efficient way to get your oestrogen? If you use the gel you can easily use it morning and evening and adjust the dose till you feel good. The patch is very popular as it can give consistency as well. Pill form of HRT may be simple but it's not always the best. There would probably be no reason why they wouldn't prescribe the 1mg dose pills for you but I'm not sure you would get any real benefit - you've just got to remember to take a pill twice!!!. DG x
