Started my period night between Sunday and Monday, so a week ago. Had a "heavier" period than I've had for a while (i.e. a normal period for me). I was bleeding Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and not much more after that. Aside from a lot of clear runny mucus (sorry...), which seems to be how I end my periods these days...
Friday and yesterday I was in the mood for sex, all of a sudden, which was nice ;D ... And today I've had some weird cramps, that I don't understand. Sometimes hard to tell WHAT hurts, but the cramps are located below my belly button and just above my pubic bone. Mostly in the middle, or a slight bit to the right. It seems that it most likely would be my uterus? But why is it cramping NOW??? Anyone else had this happening?

Nobody.... :( ?? I'm cramp free for the moment, but who knows what happens later....

LOL Who knows.... That's a positive thought.... :)

If you are peri meno and your hormones are fluctuating then weird cramps can be part of this. If you are worried then I'd go to the GP for a check. As CLKD says - all that 'exercise' can pull the odd muscle!!! ;D

Yes, I'm pretty sure that I'm in perimenopause...

Perhaps you should try :bed: to see if those particular muscles are involved ……. :-X ;)
Did you require pain relief?

Ha ha... ;D

I used to get this before my hysterectomy and always blamed it on the uterus.. now I still get it... maybe it's the bladder?

A uro/gynae I have seen said 90% of pelvic pain starts in the bladder.......where it finishes is another story

I get muscle 'pain' if my bowel is full when we :bed: - probably a kind of bruising.
