Title: Breakthrough bleed or period
Post by: Chi chi on June 15, 2015, 11:02:06 AM
So I started bleeding last night but I'm confused as to wether it's actually a period or breakthrough bleeding?
As some of you might know I have implants but my e was low so I'm topping up with gel. I was supposed to take my prog on 1 June but I postponed it as I didn't want to make myself feel worse until my e levels were up again. Hubby has gone all "armchair specialist" on me  ::) lol and thinks it's a sign that my e levels are still too low, I tried to explain to him what breakthrough bleeding is (as best as I could) as I'm not completely sure myself
Strange thing is though my last bleed was around this time last month?? Without the use of prog

I don't know  if it's breakthrough is it proper shedding? I've also been having what could be hot flushes too  ??? Had to strip off in bed last night and came over all hot this morning, I've had this a few times before but never thought about it being due to hormones
