has anybody else noticed a connection between progesterone and increased appetite?
When i take Utrogestan for 12 days i feel constantly hungry. As soon as i stop taking it, my appetite goes back to normal. Another reason why i hate taking it. I sleep for 9 hours and yet have trouble getting out of bed in the morning. I am lethargic for most of the day, my brain is foggy, i get anxious over stupid things, my fuse is also shorter than usual. Arrgh, i hate progesterone!

Now you come to mention it, I'm always snacking in the evening after my meal and then worry about taking the Utrogestan, my stomach is not empty! I'm also very lethargic and dozy and snappy too. The joys of meno!

Oestrogen and progesterone have different effects on blood sugar metabolism - diabetics notice this at different stages in their menstrual cycle.
