Hi Ladies,

I read a post mentioning DR Annie Evans today.
 I have looked up her talk on Utube and watched it . Just type in Dr Annie Evans Utube and it will come up with the film of her lectures . The films were in 3 ten minute shorts. They are very informative and cover a lot of information regarding the menopause and HRT.

If you are worried , confused and unsure and would like a few facts , I urge you to watch it.

Yep , I knew someone mentioned it through my menopausal haze and thought it was worth putting a post on , to spread the word .

It is presented very well and explains exactly what we are going through.

I think it should be mandatory for GP's to watch it.
And mandatory for all women !

So spread the word!

Yep that's the one Hurdity!! I hadn't got the energy to pop the link up this morning !! I had trouble functioning this morning. Still I did my best which is verging on pathetic today . So thanks!

Incidentally I have put the milk in the washing machine and the powder in the fridge! I think that's what she said ? Except in my case I kept finding my cream crackers in  funny places .And no that isn't a metaphor !!

Thanks , I only saw it because I spotted it on here and thought it was worth a separate post. In fact I think it should come up on the site as a flashing beacon .WATCH THIS !! in a big pink neon sign.

As I say , I do hope that it helps some ladies through this very confusing and frustrating time.

That was very informative and also reassuring.

I wish she had spoken more about the psychological effects of peri menopause though. She only touched on them very briefly at the start of her lecture.

Yes I agree , but I suppose there was a lot to cover .That's probably a whole subject on it's own!

Perhaps there is a film out there dedicated just to that ? Entitled " Why I put my milk in the washing machine" ::) :-\

probably because I posted it in the topic muffin tops and you obviously thought this isnt me so didnt read it !! :rofl:

someone was asking about putting on weight in that area so just posted it there duh didnt think to put it under its own heading  :beat: assumed everyone like me reads everything  ;D

Think I'd travel to the ends of the earth right now to see someone who cares and knows their stuff

As soon as my OH's work stabilises (and if I still haven't got anywhere down the Nhs route) I'll looker her up

Such a shame there aren't Annie Evans everywhere :-(

Sometimes we miss things in a menopausal haze and panic, and it doesn't always register.

I wish I'd seen it before.
