Title: Strange Head Sensation
Post by: toffeecushion on May 04, 2015, 09:26:40 PM
Does anyone ever feel like this?

I don't feel dizzy or lightheaded as such, but I have a strange sensation in my head.  It feels like a pressure on my head that is moving my head about.  It feels like I could black out or fall over. It's very difficult to explain, but I am sure you would know what I mean if it happens to you.

Not had what you describe? But definitely having a lot more headaches this last week since the HRT kicked in.

Presumably the hormones are doing something to our brain chemistry?

I used to get funny sensations & actually had to either lie down or sit down before I fell over. Was told it was anxiety based. Not sure about that if I'm honest, as I've had anxiety in past few months & didn't have that effect. I think it was more hormonal.

Tenseness in the shoulders and neck can give the same sort of feelings of pressure in the head.

I am peri.  I have noticed a weird buzzing like electricity, tingling feeling in my skin, especially head and skin on face.

Yes I get head symptoms which get me down but it helps to know it is not something that is just peculiar to me  :)

Yep.  It's due to the anti-depressant that I take  ::) - sometimes my head seems to whoosh inside, enough to make me go 'oh'! but's over immediately.  Occasionally I feel like I might fall but haven't done.
