Title: Light Period
Post by: toffeecushion on April 20, 2015, 07:14:23 PM
For the past year my periods have been every 25 days or there abouts.  This month nothing until day 35, but it was hardly anything, if I had blinked I would have missed it.  Is that normal,  is that just a light period or was it spotting?

Through peri menopause, periods become erratic - sometimes heavy and sometimes light or just spotting.
We are all different and experience it differently. DG x

Hi ToffeeCushion

16 months ago my cycle suddenly shortened to 25/26 days, when it had always been 28 and my periods became much, much lighter and only lasted 2-3 days (rather than 6-7). Some months it was more just heavy brown spotting, rather than an actual bleed of 'fresh' looking blood.

Last month my period didn't arrive until day 30 (???) and was extremely light.
